Description:

@dodothefairy is hosting a swap in her group ( mini challenges through the month) that tickles my creativity. She is inviting us to travel the world, to start with Afghanistan. this is her blog where you can read all about it.

Whenever I make a trip I like to bring home a souvenir. Most times that's jewellery or pottery or some other local craft.

For this swap you make a piece of jewellery inspired by Afghan jewellery What techniques you use is up to you. It doesn't have to be wearable (in daily life) The only requirement is you have to use alfoil, how much is up to you.

You don't need to be an experienced jewel maker to join. This is a swap to be inspired by something, use a certain material and see what it brings you. Play while you create. Colors, other material, bracelet or necklace, or whatever is senders choice.

In your note/letter you will give the name of the swap and your username. You will also write a little (or a lot) about how you made your piece of jewellery. Also explain how Afghanistan is connected to your jewel. Sometimes things make sense to you but not to an other person.

This is an international swap. Shipping could be expensive if you make something big. Sent on time. If there is a problem communicate with your partner. Rate fairly. If you receive a jewel inspired by Afghanistan and it has some alfoil in it you must rate a 5. If you love what you got give a heart.

Please ask if there are things not clear and have fun creating.

I got a question if ailfoil is the same as aluminium foil. Yes, it's the same. Maybe more are confuse about the word, hope this clears it.
