For Spoil a Yarnie, I made stitch holders. When I make them, I usually consider them jewelry for my knitting needles. I make sparkly beaded ones. However, for this...... the sky's the limit! You can make them from any media you like, polymer clay, beads, needle felting, etc. Here are the specifics: You will make FOUR stitch holders They should be about an inch long. The stitch holders should either be all different or three the same and one different - this makes place holding easier if you are counting rounds. The media is up to you, but make sure that there is a metal O ring at the top for easy needle sliding. I use ones that are 1/2 inch or larger to accommodate different size needles. Please list your preferred needle size below. Currently, I'm knitting socks only, so I wouldn't need a large O ring on mine, and you could use a smaller one. Likewise, if you prefer bulky knits, your partner would make one with larger O rings. Since these can be made relatively lightweight, I am making this international. I've shipped them in cards, as they can be smallish. Message me with questions. Happy making! |
