After Afghanistan @dodothefairy is now taking us to the Bahamas with her passport challenge. Besides the beautifull beaches and great food (or should I be honest and admit it's the coctails I love) this is the place of pirates. For this swap you will become a pirate and you go treasure hunting. What do you need for this swap? As a pirate you need a parrot or a wooden leg obviously. You also need a camera (nothing fancy, the 1 on your phone will do just fine) and some comfortable shoes since we're going for a walk. For finding the treasures just think outside the box. Maybe you're in front of a garden with something shimmering in it or you see beautifull flowers or a cute kitten/puppy. Maybe the concrete is broken and you found the spot where you should start digging. Maybe you're in front of a school and the treasure is education or you're at a very peacefull place and no stress is the treasure. I'm sure you can think of something when you're there. Have fun and look at your neighbourhood with a fresh look. And remember you are a pirate, you can adjust the route to your own rules. (I don't encourage you to go tresspassing or whatever to follow the route, use it as a guidance) Here is the route: Leave your home to the south. Walk 2 minutes and 10 steps. This is where you find your first treasure. Continue walking south with a slight angle to the east. Do this for 5 minutes, 5 steps and 5 babysteps. You see it, right, there's treasure 2. Walking more and more to the east for 1 minute. Change directions to north. Take 50 steps and make a picture of treasure 3. Walk 3 minutes. 10 steps backwards you find treasure 4. Heading in the direction of home you walk until your before your home. You'll find treasure 5 there. This should be around 15-30 minutes walk. Feel free to go further or stay closer to home. |
