I am SUPER excited to dive into Pocket Letters. This is the first one I am hosting, and I am STOKED! The theme for April is going to be "April Showers". It is going to be a pretty easy one, and I am going to allow newbies with fully filled out profiles to join. No flakers allowed. If you have recent (within the last 6 months) 1's, you will be banned. If you are banned, I will make sure you know why. I am prepared to angel, but please don't make me have to! A Pocket Letter is made with a clear plastic 9-pocket card sleeve that is made for a 3-ring binder. In each pocket, you ad an ATC (2 1/2"x 3 1/2") sized or paper to make the pocket have a pretty background. Often, people make it so both sides have a picture, as you have to tri-fold the sheet to fit it in an envelope. You also add items to the pockets (you must add items to at least 6 of the pockets. If you are sending paper clips (or other tiny items) add at least 5 of that item to fill the pocket. Ideas for items to send: -Seed Packet -Stickers -Paper Clips -Souvenir Magnet -Tea Packet -Chocolate/Candy -Ribbon (must be at least 12") -Washi Tape Samples -Buttons -Tags -Ephemera -Glitter (not loose) -Recipes -Sequins -Die Cut pieces -Stamps -Adult Coloring Book pages -Beads -Fabric (6x6" or larger) -Lotion Samples -Charms -Pictures -Tiny Ziplocs or Envelopes -Rubber Erasers -Project Life Cards The possibilities are endless. Please include a letter for your partner on 1 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper front and back. Try to make sure your items fit with the theme! The letter is important! If this is a hit I will make it a monthly, themed swap! |
