Thanks to Artistic for coming up with the original swap. Have you ever come across a line or phrase while reading or listening to a song and think, "Hey, that would make a great title"? If so, this is the swap for you. If not, join up and see what the Muse sends your way during the swap period. For this swap, we'll spend two weeks jotting down at least ten words, phrases or sentences that we come across in any format: books, poems, articles, TV, music, art, etc. If it's already a title, it doesn't count (i.e. "Gone with the Wind," "Twilight," etc.) These should be things that could lend themselves to be the title of a novel, short story, play, poem, or other creative work. Here are some examples found in a newspaper:
Send your partner a copy of your list and be sure to identify where you got it. Feel free to include any additional information you'd like to share about the experience. The list should be typed or legibly handwritten. Snail mail. International. Group membership. |
