Description:

Welcome to the Used Postage Stamps Swap - September 2016! I plan on hosting this swap once every month!

There are so many different postage stamps that come from all over the world. Let's put that used postage to good use!

For this swap, you will send 1 partner 10 used postage stamps. Here are a few rules:

  • NO DUPLICATES - they all must be different stamps.
  • Stamps can be soaked off an envelope or neatly cut around the edges
  • SENDER'S CHOICE! You can start putting your stamps together now!
  • Be sure to include the swap name and your swap-bot user name with your stamps!

This swap is international because it will be inexpensive to mail and that way we can receive stamps from all around the world!

  • Minimum swap rating 4.9
  • Newbies are welcome with a completed profile.
  • No recent unexplained 1s or 3s
  • Must have logged in to swap-bot within 3 days prior to partners being assigned.
  • I will review all swappers prior to assigning partners and remove anyone who seems questionable.

I'm leaving the sign ups open for 2 weeks to allow people time to gather their stamps. You will then have 1 week to mail your stamps to your partner.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

10 stamps somehow doesn't justify the postage for an envelope ... increase the number of stamps: Why not consider 50?! :)

True 10 Stamps doesn't justify the international postage. For example . Postage from Canada is 2.50 .

Maybe you should make it a higher number for your next swap

@wm and @nickmang thank you for your feedback. I am doing this as 10 stamps because it's to help people get started with their stamp collecting. I know plenty of people have done swaps for 20, 30, 50, and even 100 stamps.

I personally have fun sending them all around the world. I appreciate your feelings about this, but I do like to keep this at 10 so that way it helps people newer to stamp collecting to build theirs up.

Thanks @Fenix825 for letting me post this here.

I'm not a stamp collector. I do have a bunch of used foreign (not from the USA) stamps from the 1960's and 1970's. If someone is in need of stamps for this swap I am willing to trade. Take a gander at my profile and message me what you have and maybe we can work out a trade.

I can only swap within the USA at this time
