Description:

So I have been dabbling in trying out the vegan lifestyle - eliminating all animal products from my diet. I have not fully gone vegan, but I have pretty much gone vegetarian. This will be a swap for those that would like to try out some vegan noms!

"What do I have to do?"

Simple, my friends!

  • grab a recipe card of your choosing

  • write down the recipe and brief instructions on it

  • put a slip with your username and swap name in an envie

  • shove the recipe card right in there and SEND IT AWAY!

This is sender's choice, so be prepared to get all types of recipes. I will be making vegan/vegetarian swaps [maybe. probably?]

4.95+ rating, no recent 1s/3s unresolved.

Hi, what is meant by "recipe card of your choosing"? Is it a normal postcard (where the recipe will be written on the backside)/greeting card or is it a store bought recipe card (with a recipe printed on the front side) and there should be another recipe written on the backside? If a postcard, does it matter which one? If a store bought recipe card, does the recipe on the front side of the card have to match the topic of the swap, too? And how should the card be sent, in an envelope or without?

Thanks for your answer :)

A recipe card should be a 4x6" card intended for recipes. It usually will have spaces for writing ingredients, instructions, etc. You can buy them at Dollar Tree, Michael's, among other places. You just write your recipe on the card. The recipe will have to be a vegan recipe. Sent in an envie.

Oh! Ok, thank you, I didn't know those cards, I had never seen them, I thought postcards were meant, sorry :D Are they made from cardboard or paper? I'll look around if I see such recipe cards in stores here :)

They are usually made out of thicker paper :)
