Using a 9 pocket card protector cut in thirds horizontally, create a WINTER (not Christmas) themed pocket letter. Snow, snowmen, sledding, mittens, snuggly scarves, snowflakes, sparkling covered cottages, skiing, ice skating, hot cocoa, images of chubby cheeked children bundled against the cold, icicle covered branches, frozen ponds, igloos, polar bears, penguins, glittery trees,...there are so many wonderful ideas. Icy blues, frosty whites, glitters, pretty pastels, fun brights, make it shimmery or rustic. Really any color as long as it reads "Winter". Add a shaker pocket if you like, little trims, an appropriate phrase. Decorate the outside if you choose. These are small and fun and cheap to send. Kind of a different take on a the handmade notecard. Go crazy! Add at least one small surprise in one of the pockets and one short note to your partner in another. ONE partner. SENDER'S choice. However please read your partner's profile for dislikes. You may think worms wearing warm woolens is the cutest thing ever. Your partner not so much. You Tube and Pinterest have tons of ideas! Please feel free to ask any questions and happy swapping! Image not mine it was found on Pinterest. |
