TOW-[Imbolc]-A Time for New Life *USA*

As The Old Ways Swap-bot group is an amalgamation of many different pagan groups, we will follow the Wheel of the Year for our Sabbats and Esbats. This means you will see swaps for the following holidays throughout the year: Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhain. I will generally make these USA only to begin with, however, if i receive emails asking me for an International version I will be more than happy to create one. For these swaps you will send your partner a box with 4 items relating to the holiday. You must check your partners profile for likes/dislikes and try to center it around their profile (use goddess/gods they worship, totem animals they have,smells they like, etc while sticking with the theme.)

• This holiday has a lot of associations to Brigid (Patron of midwifery, smithing, healing and poetry.) A Celtic fire goddess also associated with Maidenhood
• Fertility, growth, purity, renewal
• Dairy, winter crops, and foods associated with the lamb/ewe
• Candlelight, crocus', snow, bonfires, Brigid's Crosses
