Description:

Assume your home is on fire and your family and pets are all out. If you could without any risk to yourself, or anyone else, salvage ten items from that fire what would they be?

Write a letter to your partners telling them what ten items you would pick and why those items are so important to you. I am guessing that for most people the items would be linked to people or interesting times in your life or will shed light on your personality, which should make for a good letter.

Two pages minumum and add a small surprise linked to the list or not - it's up to you. Make the gift really light if you struggle with international postage. The vaule of the gift is not important - I just like that moment of discovery whn i open the letter and see what idea someone had!

By all means type the list so you can easily replicate it to your partners inside a handwritten letter. (Or type the whole thing - I don'think anyone will mind!)

Usual 'small print' - newbies welcome. This is international. Any one with rating less than 4 or more than 1 no-send will be banned unless you conatct me with very good explanation.

Finaly can I 'abuse' my position as host to alert you to a swap for charity going on at http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/2645 called Swap a Goat. I would be grateful if you coudl just check that out and see if it is for you. If it's a choice between this swap and that one - join that one!

This is a great idea! My only problem is I am unsure if I could make it 2 pages. hehe. I will type it up first and if it is 2 pages I will join. =)

i do have a thing for handwritten letters, so if my partner is comfortable with it, i would be happy to recieve my letters untyped. either way is fine though. thankz! :D

Liz in IL, received your letter today. Wow you are quick. It was a lovely letter. Family things mean a lot and I know just what you mean about the nintendo and leather coat...the accomplishments they represent are irreplaceable! And Ava is a beauty. Thanks for everything.
