March Tarot Reading (electronic)

This is the 4th of a series of Tarot readings our group will do for 2017. When most public (and some private) rituals take place, the role of Guardian at the Gate is filled to hold the peace & safety for our rituals. This Guardian asks us all, "How do you enter this sacred space" and the answer we must make in our hearts and with our words is: "I enter in perfect love and perfect trust."

For that goal, our tarot reading for the next step into 2017 will serve to recognize where we really are with our spirituality. Being perfect in anything, especially in love for others and with trust in others, takes soulful work. The card that turns up for you in this reading will tell you where that work is and perhaps what your next steps are.

This is an electronic swap, so we invite all members from around the great green Earth to join us.

Get into your sacred space. Take your favorite deck, shuffle and cut three times to the left. Then from the top of your shuffled deck, pull off the first card. YES, just one card will tell it all for the next steps into this year. It means you, as the reader need to do a lot of sensing, looking and interpreting of this card. You don't need a book to give you the meaning. Just look at it and tell your partner what is there.

Tell your partner what you see in the card that represents what they need to be to find perfect love and perfect trust. It is a journey.

When I did this reading for myself, I drew the JUSTICE card. What I see is a woman standing next to a tree with mountains in the background. She has planted her sword on her right side representing logic, and hung the scales on the tree to her right side representing intuition. She has her feet firmly planted on the good green Earth, and perhaps knows she must decide before she takes another step. Her intention is on the two balls that seem to float above her hands. It seems that she is making a decision. It is a great card to represent the search for truth.

This symbol of Justice is not blindfolded and is able to see truth around her. True Justice puts down the sword of opposition and is willing to negotiate and find harmony, balance and peace. This card calls for kindness, and maybe even forgiveness. The large mountains represent knowledge and they loom behind for our gal meaning that she probably knows what is needed and for now, has turned her back to that reality. The card would call for peace talks. She intuits that and we see it.

The thing I know is that while others may not be ready to reinstate friendship, love or camaraderie, to enter my own sacred space, I must have it in my heart in order to pass through this gate. The Guardian here will tell me that: "It is better you fall upon my sword than to enter without perfect love and perfect trust in your heart." It is about me. Me and in this moment, only me. I cannot make another person be at peace with our interactions. I am the only one responsible for what I do, for what I think and say. It is my spirit that hangs in the balance here with this card.

If you participate in this monthly series, you may want to keep the readings all together and let them form patterns. If you drop in for one or two during the year, you will get another kind of pattern. Here is where we trust the divine messages.
