TPS: Mail Art - January 2017

I never tire of making mail art, and always have a stack of handmade postcards at the ready anytime I feel the need to send some happy mail. With a printing plate, an interesting piece of mail art can come together fairly quickly and easily.

For this swap, send your partner 1 piece of mail art that somehow includes one of your own Gelli/gelatin prints. All other forms of monoprinting are welcome as well. Your print may be created on any surface you choose. Feel free to be as creative as you wish, adding anything else you want, including (but not limited to) rubber stamping, stenciling, embellishments, doodling, etc.

Some ideas for what to send:

• A handmade postcard, any mailable size or shape
• A decorated envelope, sent empty or not, your choice
• An ATC
• Anything, created by solely you, that can legally be mailed

My aim with this swap is to not limit creativity in the least. You can send any type of mail art you wish, as long as you incorporate one of your own monoprints in some form. Feel free to think outside the box!

• Sender's choice in type of mail art, color, theme, style, etc.
