One of my first swaps I did on swap bot was a playing card swap. I think it's time for another one, because I have discovered that I have a HUGE box of playing cards, and many have very interesting backs etc, The twist is this: I just bought a bunch of cards at a dollar store in various themes. They aren't playing cards with kings and queen and the like, but things like tv trivia, re-kindling romance for dummies, etc etc. It is not a requirement that you have some non playing cards, but if you can get some it would be fun. You can just use any neat cards that you may already have on hand. Usually these cards are used for ATC backs, but they can also be used in altered books etc... if you are planning to use them on ATCs and they are not quite the correct size, such as a bit smaller, you can always mount them on another ATC back that is the right size! Since this a fairly easy swap, i am going to give it a fairly quick turn around time... but I'll make the sign up date for mid March and the mailout date for early April, for those of us who have multiple swaps going. Does that sound good? This should be fun and interesting! It is an INTERNATIONAL swap, and newbies are welcome, it'll be an easy way to get some ratings! let's have 3 partners each, and send at least 5 cards to each partner. If you want to send more, you can, but the requirement is only 5 cards per partner. |
