Artfully alter one library card and pocket, aka circulation cards, check-out cards...what am I talking about? These things: You know, back in the olden days, before barcodes and scanners, they were used to keep track of borrowed library books. Now they're a novel thing people use for invitations, announcements and journaling. Neat-o. If you have a real-deal authentic card and pocket, you can use it of course, but if not, you can find reproduction cards or make your own using a template or even fashion them from scratch. The cards are typically 3"x5" and it just needs to easily slide in and out of its pocket.
You can alter one side of the card and add your info on the backside (like an ATC) and the same goes for the pocket, as the pockets are made to be attached somewhere. Art up the card and pocket using any mediums you desire. Get creative and make 'em cool. This swap is brought to you by the pack of Martha Stewart library cards & pockets I recently got in a Goodwill grab bag. ^_^ |
