THIS IS #5

PurpleButterfly has given me permission to start running the Traveling PC swaps again. I enjoyed the first 4 rounds very much and hope you'll jump into the new ones.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND:

Choose a card. A card that you think people would enjoy seeing (however, PLEASE DO NOT USE EXTRA LARGE POSTCARDS THAT WILL REQUIRE EXTRA POSTAGE) Put your name and address (including the country) on the right hand side of the card. Put the title of the swap "Postcards Traveling Around the World #5" and your screen name at the top of the left hand side. PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE and send it off to your partner.

IF YOU PARTICIPATED IN A PREVIOUS ROUND:

Just write your name, user name, city, state/country, and the round number (#5) on the left hand side of the postcard you received in the previous round. Put it into an envelope and send it to yoru partner!

PLEASE NOTE: Do not write your entire address on the postcard- This takes up too much space

Hang on to the postcard(s) you receive each round. We will have another round each month. Sign up when you receive yours from the previous round. When the left side of the postcard is full with the names and cities of those that have received the postcard, the last person will stamp your actual postcard and send it back to you.

Important

  • Please don't send more than 3 cards per round. Hang on to the extra ones and send them in following rounds. If you have too many, please contact me and I will get them back in rotation.

  • If you decide to stop these swaps contact me so you can send your cards to me and they can stay in rotation.

It's been too long! I wish I could put my hands on the last postcard I received. Oh well...have to start over! Thanks for the message!

Let's give it another try......;-)

There is a version of this swap that is publicly available on the site also. I haven't been around this group that long, so I didn't know it used to be a thing here. :) I'm wondering... if people participate in both, how will they keep from confusing the traveling cards?

Here's a link to the other one. http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/239954

@ReLigt All postcards in these swaps should have the swap names on them. The names of the swaps are different and the numbering is also much different. I know they are in the 60's and we're only on #5. But you are correct they are essentially the same swap.

Yay!! Glad this swap is back, I have a postcard from @Soccer8s to move forward. : )

Yay! I have a card from @chellehames and can't wait to send it along.

Updating the swap with instructions on how to handle multiple postcards. Some people, including me, received more than 1 postcard in previous rounds and I referred to the public version of this swap to see how they handle multiple postcards.

Yay, finally! Thank a lot for hosting this, I was looking forward to it!
