Description: | |
I have become fairly obsessed with April, the pregnant giraffe! I love her "pattern" and if you really look you can see at least five heart shaped spots on her. I'm sure there are more though! She's just so beautiful, they all are. For this swap you will create an ATC completely covered with your interpretation of a giraffe pattern / print / "fur". (Giraffes are shorthair animals.) Within your design incorporate at least three spots in a heart style shape. This swap is for heat set embossing. I think the easiest way of course would be to use an embossing pen. You may be able to use an embossing ink pad with a triangular make up sponge to emboss the spots. There will be a long time between sign up and send so anyone wanting to get a pen has time. You have to choose whether to emboss the spots or the lines in between them. Please do not add any embellishments, this is for the embossing of giraffe print only. As far as color and medium (other than embossing powder) used for color, it's completely sender's choice. If you dislike the hot pink ATC you receive you still rate a five! Please be sure: Add a backing with swap name, date, title and please, sign it. Put it in a protective sleeve Put inside a notecard adding your thoughts about April or giraffes in general. This should be at least two - three sentences. Again, there is plenty of turn around time! This will be time intensive so even if you work well under pressure, start it prior to the evening before it's due to be mailed. When ATCs are rushed it really shows. Please do not join unless you plan on following through. I will angel should someone flake but only after you rate your partner a one. I reserve the right to bump anyone that I feel may be a problem. Please message me with any questions rather than ask in the comments. |
