Description:

This swap is very easy and simple...

You will make 1 atc for your partner based on textured rubbing for example using a coin and rubbing over with a crayon on to a piece of paper, or using a piece of tree bark etc .

I thought this atc was a little different and requires some extra thought on how to make it in to an atc. An unusual subject !

Any materials can be used to make the atc, just as long as it displays the chosen theme in someway.

please remember to write the name of the swap and your swap-bot name on the back.

This swap is international. If you have any questions PM me.

Thanks. mike

This is a great idea. I did "rubbings" as part of my thesis in school. Actually it a form of art called frottage. YouTube has some good introduction video to watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEh8SfNcWfI

You can also google "frottage" and get other explanations of the technique.

I found you can use rubberstamps as the "texture" if your paper is thin enough. Embroidered dollies work well and embossed book covers (usually really old books have these kinds of covers). Metal grates have good texture as well...anything that has a pattern.
