Description: | |
Stamped images are made with inked rubber stamps on scraps of paper. (Please see swap image) You can use them for paper crafts like mailart, card making, scrapbooking, etc... For this swap you will be sending: -10 DIFFERENT stamped IMAGES (as in, no text-only stamped images) -1 other flat item (eg sticker sheet, washi samples, tea bags) Rules: -Stamp images shouldn't be too tiny, must be bigger than a nickle -No childish or cartoonish or teacher's reward stamps -Image stamps that happen to have text as well (eg the World Traveller stamp in the photo) are fine. So are cursive script stamps, just no phrase stamps like "That Happened" or "Awesome" -Don't worry about your stamping ability, faded or blurry images add character -Try to leave a reasonable border around your stamped images in case your partner wants to cut it in a certain shape or whatever (I personally like to tear edges for a scrap look) -You can stamp on cardstock paper, brown paper bag, or scrapbook paper with a background that complements your stamped images eg I think a rugged graph paper background or whatever can look really nice -Include a note with the swap name and your username and put everything in a plastic baggie in the likelihood your envelope will get wet. Because of the artistic component, I rated this swap a type 3 but what you'll be sending will be less than 5mm in thickness and 1 ounce (30g) in weight so it shouldn't be too expensive, just 1 international stamp. This swap is sender's choice so I highly suggest putting your envelope together as soon as you join this swap! I can angel for one person. Happy swapping! |
