I Love to read, I don't need an excuse to read, but if I have one so much the better:) I just got a wonderful calendar from my local library, it has a challenge for 2017. It has a list of different books to read, not the titles but the types of book for each challenge. I want to do this so I figured some would like to join me and it also would give me an added incentive. Some are easy and I have already done them but I will try do one each month. I will give a month's time between sign up and completion as to allow you to find the correct book as some will be more difficult than others. This will be an electronic swap. You will read the correct book, then e-mail or PM your partner, state the author, title and a brief summary of the book and if you liked it or not. It doesn't have to be long. If you had trouble finding it and didn't finish the book that is fine, just send the info and your impressions so far. This is an easy swap open to everyone but please no flakers! Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Happy Reading! This month's challenge will tricky for some (me especially) : Read a book by an author that has YOUR initials. So if your name is Susie Kelly you read a book by Stephen King. If you can't find one with your initials you can do it back words like mine are LZ and I'm having trouble finding an author with those initials but I did find one with ZL. You can also use your maiden name if that is easier or if all else fails, your middle initial, just make sure you explain to your partner what you used. Since this is tricky I am adding some links below to help you out. You can read any genre, except of course cookbooks, LOL! Any questions please pm me or post here. Please if you have friends that would like this swap feel free to tell them! |
