Description:

For this swap you will send each of your two swap partners 20 stamped images. Doubles are okay, but no more than 2 of the same image. While stamps are welcome on white card and/or with one ink colour, I encourage everyone to used different coloured paper and inks as well! Mix it up.

Please don't send Christmas or other religious holiday stamped images unless your partner specifically states that they like it on their page.

Please ensure that you are sending images that are clear and not partial prints.

While all sizes of stamped images are welcome for this swap, I would veer towards using medium to larger sized stamps, or use your teeny tiny stamped images as lovely extras added in hopes for a heart!

I have been using a mix of papers and ink colors and love it! In fact great for journals. I have some beautiful Brilliance inks that are my favorites. @WoodlandBanchee I think I included some in swap #3 for you. Thanks for hosting these swaps. :)

Oops! Correction, it was swap #2.

@BusyB - Ohhh yay, I am excited! Hopefully it will come today because I've got the day off and will be crafting the day away!

Aww, that's awesome! I am a long time stamper and it's still so fun to do these swaps. I love my stamps! Already planning for the next one. Cheers @WoodlandBanshee

Do images need to all be on cardstock, or is good quality paper also okay? What about stamping on top of book pages? (I mostly use bits for journaling, so I don't use a lot of cardstock myself, although I have it ready to go).)

Hello @wombatlady - good question.

Stamps on good quality paper and book pages is not only okay, it's encouraged. So beautiful!

Try to avoid construction paper thin coloured paper.

Awesome, thank you!

Sorry, one more question: I've been experimenting with watercolor-style stamping using water-based markers, on more loose painting-style stamps. Is it okay to include a few of those or should I stick to the crisp inkpad stamping?

WoodlandBanshee 08/ 7/2017 #

@wombatlady - Sorry for getting back to you a little later than you'd probably like. I was in the woods camping for the BC long weekend and I just got back.

I think it would be lovely if you included a few of the images from your experiment with watercolour stamping. I know I would love it. I hope this got to you in time before you sent, otherwise, next time! Cheers.

No worries, thanks - I'm still finishing up my stamping. :) Hope you had a good weekend camping! @WoodlandBanshee
