This is a personal swap between Anettethhjertnes and Doraecysmails. For this swap, we will send 4 APCs to each other. Rules will follow All Decked out APCs Aces as follows: Aces is Robins and/or Sparrows, and/or Thrushes. Don't forget the background is a book page. Read on. There will 13 swaps in this series. You can feel free to join one or all of the swaps. If you join all 13 you will have an entire deck of playing card with the theme of things with wings. To insure continuity in the deck, the entire deck will require that all the cards made, will have an actual book page as a background. You may add distress ink or color. Any language is allowed. Hopefully you have a damaged book to cover the 52 cards. If not ask your local library or a thrift store. This is for APCs, which are altered playing cards. The idea is that the top left corner of card is bare to reveal the suit, such as, hearts, spades etc and the number or Jack King Queen. Keep in mind that playing cards can come in various sizes and we are only using cards that are 2.5 wide and 3.5 in length. If you send the wrong size, you will be asked to resend. So measure. You can buy 2 decks of playing cards for $1 that are the correct size at most Dollar stores, but again MEASURE. Go over to their area with the rulers and measure. Michael's sells card decks and they are often too small. On another trip to the Dollartree store, I found one decorative deck of cards, of the correct size for $1. The selection may vary at your local $1 stores. You will send your partner 4 playing cards, one of each suit, one heart, one club, one diamond, one spade. Feel free to use postage stamps on one or more of the cards. Your four cards can coordinate, but please don't put the same image on your 4 cards. Your partner deserves some variety in their cards. |
