ZMACS Nov: Webs We Weave Hexaminizine

A while back we did a hexaminizine swap, and I would like to bring them back to ZMACS! Click here for many many hexaminizine ideas links.

The webs we weave ... Webs are symbols for association, connection, bringing together. They are also associated with entrapment, entanglement, to be approached with caution. In mythology, spiders are creative, life-giving ... and sometimes tricky.

In this swap, we will create one small zine with hexagonal pages with the theme "Webs We Weave" for one partner. It is possible to make a hexaminizine that can be copied and sent out to multiple partners, but it is a bit more ... tricky. Maybe we'll do multiple partners in the next swap!

In the meantime, here are some more web challenges for inspiration (not required for the swap)! Make a giant yarn spider web; make an ojo-de-Dios style spiderweb from yarn, make a spider web cape from fabric, make a spider mother/ child costume .. a little creepy .., make a kirigami paper spider web, similar to a paper snowflake, and crochet a spider web.

Have fun, be creative, and may the only spiders you receive in the mail be welcome ones :) Open to all ZMACS members in good standing. I will angel any unsent swaps!
