(edited dec 13th - only to add clickable links that work, thanks @Tessssssa I have received a few snail mail flip books in swaps on here. They are beautiful and inspiring. Since this is new for me, I thought it would be great to make one for a swap and trade with others who are interested in it too but haven't had a chance to make one yet. For this swap, we will make one snail mail flip book for one partner. The book can be any size, but must include at least two pockets for goodies, one envelope addition with a letter, note, or mail tag, and be 4 pages (or more) including the front and back covers. Pages can flip in any direction. Decorate in any theme, senders choice ( though it's nice to peek at your partner's profile for inspiration on a theme they may enjoy) Here is a basic tutorial by Janette Lane the creator of pocket letters: Janette Lane flip-books and another by Little Hot Tamale: little hot tamale flip-book tutorial And one more: pen pal flip-book Edit to add this lovely flip book tutorial. Long but if you skip bits, it's not so bad. Sooo pretty! : long tutorial If you receive a snail mail flip book that is 4 pages and includes 2 pockets of goodies and one envelope with a note/letter/mail tag, please rate your partner a 5. Of course hearts at your discretion. Those that have made snail mail flip books before are welcome to join, however please keep in mind that this will be the first flip book for some. Please ask questions if anything is not clear. This is my first swap of this kind and as I haven't made one before myself, any advice is very welcome! Take care. |
