Description:

Would you all like to do a monthly stocking stuffer? You can join every month or only some months - whatever works for you. I'll host a monthly swap for a stocking stuffer (some will be crafty, some might be thrifted finds, others will be for supplies, etc.) and when December rolls around again, we'll have a nice little stash of gifts to unwrap!

Ok, so for this SS (stocking stuffer) you will send your partner four handmade gift tags, any size. They can be Christmas, Birthday, Valentine's Day, Halloween, Easter, Generic, or any combination you choose. I suggest taking a peek at your partner's profile to get a feel for what holidays they might enjoy most. Use some of your crappy embellishments and make those tags crap-fabulous!

Oops! I forgot to add that the tags should be wrapped (at the very least with some tissue paper) and labeled with the swap name and your name.

Sounds like a fun swap! Should be type 3?

ChinaCat 01/11/2018 #

Hee! Thank you, Karen. I'll change it.

So I'm confused on the rating as we don't open until December. How do we know it's extra special if it's not opened until then? And I fear someone not rating or drops out of Swap-bot in a year's time, Can we opt to open now?

ChinaCat 01/13/2018 #

Yes, you can open now or wait. We do however need to rate a 5 as soon as we receive the swap, even if we don't open it until December. As far as giving a heart before you know for sure that it meets your criteria, that's just totally arbitrary as far as I can determine. My own personal feeling is this: If the package arrives on time, is wrapped and has a tag or label with the swap name and the name of my partner, I will give a 5 and a heart. If I open it in December and it doesn't meet the swap requirements, I might contact the partner and ask for a re-send but it's doubtful I would be inclined to change a rating that many months later. If anyone does have issues with a swap I'm hosting, please contact me and I'll work as a go-between or I'll angel. Also, since these are considered stocking stuffers, they can be small and inexpensive. I' didn't put a value in the requirements, but just a rough guide would be about $3 to $5.

will you be doing a international version?

ChinaCat 01/20/2018 #

I won't be hosting any international swaps due to postage costs, however you are more than welcome to host the international versions of anything I'm hosting.
