Description: | |
I've participated in several postcard swaps where you write a favorite quote on the back, and they are great fun! This one will be similar, but with a twist: the source of your quote must be a Catholic source. What's a "Catholic source?" Perhaps you have read something by the Pope (this one, the last one, or any one) that seemed to speak pithily to you. Or maybe you have read G.K. Chesterton and enjoyed his thoroughly quoteable writings. Or let's say something from one of the Church Fathers has especially inspired you. Or Mother Angelica. Or St. Therese. St. Augustine. Mother Teresa. St. Francis. Or if you are totally at a loss, choose your favorite from this page, which has some good ones. The postcard can by of any type (tourist, artsy, store-bought or handmade, etc.) The quote should appear somewhere on it (front or back) and the card should be mailed without an envelope. The swap is international. You must have at least 3 completed swaps under your belt and a rating of 4 or more. NOTE: This swap was created as a sort of kick-off for the recently created Catholic Swappers group. You don't have to be a member of the group to participate in this swap, but if you are Catholic you are cordially invited to join the group. The group motto is "Fellowship, sharing, and creativity." See you there! |
