With the holidays coming around, there is going to be a lot of tempting food around! Bad for my waistline! I thought if we were making Amigurumi food and receiving Amigurumi food, we'd be less likely to overindulge on the real thing! (Highly unlikely but it's worth a shot, right?)

So for this swap you will be making one Amigurumi food item for your partner. It could be anything food related. It must be at least 4 inches or you can make a couple of smaller ones. Please make sure to check your partner's profile for any allergies!

snow happens - I figured you had more come down... you are not anywhere close to deadline yet - you still have three weeks to mail.... no stress. :)

I found the yarn on clearance at WalMart - It is Red Heart Carefree Cotton Blend. I used a C or D I think... Pattern was MUAYGA - Make Up As You Go Along... That is why there are some odd spots on the eggplant. He was not quite as smooth as I envisioned..

I had a Strawberry swap that I created for those of us who wanted to swap Strawberry HANDMADE - cause the girl who does all the strawberry swaps is rude about the no handmade things included. I got to practice on the strawberries and the greenery. The UGLY one is still at my house.

I will figure out kinda how I did each one, and post the info on my blog. - Just so you know - I made the eggplant, because the only yarn colors I had found were the Red (Strawberry) the Green, Black, White (I made a snowman for the winter Ami swap) and the Purple. I had to find a food I could make you from the colors I had. ;)

I mailed your goodies yesterday. I was hunting around for a box and of course had a lost parrot that I was trying to find. The delivery confirmation number is 0479 8072 3360 0905 1318 I am amused that you made me healthy things and mine are not healthy at all. : )

I am cool with the fact that you sent me non-healthy food. Cupcakes can not make you gain weight if they are made of yarn :)
