What kind of needles...sewing, knit, crochet...not sure what this case is for. Thanks

Sewing needles.

No pattern. It's up to you. You can either use a free pattern from the internet, or make one yourself.

I usually just make then a little like a book with a couple of pages.

A decorated front and back "cover" with a few felt pages inside to put needles in.

I LOVE the old, vintage style needle cases - made either from felt or felted wool. I can't wait to start my swap! Thank you for this wonderful idea.

This will be fun! I plan on signing up when it gets a little closer. We may want to keep in mind that if we are using felt, that wool felt does not dull needles like synthetic felt can.

I am allergic to wool felt...can I still join this one, or should I sit it out? I don't want someone to be disappointed by what I make!

crazy quilted needle case winging its way to Australia - hope you like it, and I tried to make it pretty enough so you could even leave it sitting out, heehee.

I've noticed that everyone has marked this swap as sent but only in the last week. Please let me know if any of you are flaked on.

My swap has arrived and so worth the wait. All I would say is don't panic if it takes a while to arrive, just contact you partner as overseas post can take a while. My recieved swap was so lovely and thoughtful.
