Description:

This is the 9th quilt square swap of this type that I have done. The last one was very successful and I enjoyed the results!

Inspired by some of the other quilt square swaps I have participated in, I have decided to start one of my own. You will create a 12 x 12 inch quilt square of any type of pattern you wish. The only catch is that you cannot simply use blocks (such as the other 9 block squares listed on swap-bot... one of which I am hosting). There are hundreds of patterns out there. Let's show our unique talents. Be sure to leave an extra 1/4 inch on all sides for sewing. Remember to use good quality fabric.

If this swap goes well, I will continue to do one each month. Remember to look at your partners profiles for ideas.

All must have a rating of at least 4.5 to participate.

Is it just the square, or does it need batting/backing/binding and quilting?

so you are saying not to just make a nine-patch block, Is that what you mean by "9 block squares"
Are you saying you want more detailed block patterns?
