Description:

A new year is always a time when we make goals for the upcoming year. For me, I would like to learn some new techniques that I can use for making ATCs. I think we all get in a rut with using the same few techniques over and over. Well, if you are looking for a challenge, you are in the right place. Join me as we learn some new techniques this year. Also, if anyone has a technique they would like to share or learn, PM me.

Shaker Boxes are awesome and I have always loved them when I received a card with them on or a scrapbooking piece. For this ATC swap, you will make 1 atc for 2 partners (2 total). The only requirement is that you have a shaker box somewhere on the atc. Incorporate it into the theme of the card. Have fun. :

Use these directions of you can definately search for shaker box online to see additional instructions/pictures

Shaker Box ATC's

  1. Take the top piece of your ATC and cut out the center, either in a design or trim leaving at least 1/4 inch around all edges. You can also use fun, large punches.
  2. Take your transparency and adhere to the top piece.
  3. Take your dimensional foam and press all around the edges of your cut piece making sure there are no gaps at all.
  4. Sprinkle your sequins, beads, or paper punches into the top piece. Don't overfill.
  5. Remove backing from dimensional foam and place ACT back directly over the top.

I have had a blast making shaker boxes from the tutorial. Unfortunately, I navigated away from the swap to the tutorial link and couldn't find the swap again until after the deadline, lol. Hope you host another soon. :-)
