Description:

Ok, I have this secrete desire to sit down one day and make a vintage assemblage of my very own. I am always on the hunt for old wild and crazy items that one day I might use in said assemblage and in the process have amounted a large collection of found items. Sooo, I hope to do some object swapping with others looking for found items. Due to possible weight this will be limited to the states only. This will be limited to 4.9’s and above. I will be checking for 1’s and will allow with good explanation. Here’s the requirements:

-You must collect 20 small items that may be used in art- small enough to fit in a large 250 count matchbox.

-Items must be Natural, Vintage, Old, Retro, Antique, Victorian, ect. or reproductions of.

-They must be nice and fairly clean (considering the vintage aspect), but do not have to be new.

-Include only objects that you would enjoy receiving and would find useful

-None of the same item, variety please.

-Extras for hearts

Some ideas might include: keys, broken pieces of crock and china, sea glass, costume jewelry, old lace and ribbon, ephemera, buttons, watch parts, small old bottles, gears and metal fittings of sorts, small knick knacks, old pictures, old fabric, small toys, game pieces, shells, rocks, handkerchiefs, natural feathers, doll parts, thimbles, old silverware. You’re only limited by imagination. For some ideas look up assemblage and altered art on yahoo or your search engine. If you have any questions let me know. I would rather not angel this swap, but will if I need to.

hello, do we have to package the items in a 250 ct matchbox, or can we use some other container? (my preference would be any kind of tin or box.) thanks! i look forward to the swap!

Ok, just to make things clear- you don't have to cram a matchbox or any other container. I noted 250 count match box to indicate what size items should be. Items should stay small which will also help in keeping the weight down as well. I hope that helps.
