The rating requirement is really low. You should consider to set a requirement of 4.97 or even higher. And you should re-think about the unrated newbies as this swap is predestinated for flakers with multiple profiles. You're new on swap-bot yourself and this is a huge swap for your first hosted swap. Will you angel the swap? This could become really expensive for you. There's lots of helpful information in the forum about hosting, vetting and so on. For more useful information I recommend to join the group Newbie Helpers.

I agree that this swap rating should be increased to at least a 4.90. This is a swap where you're requiring people to send a larger than normal quantity of washi tapes and I think the "flake rate" could be a lot higher as a result. I'm going to hold off on this swap for now.

This thread might help you understand the rating levels better.

A 3.0 rating means someone who has flaked on half their swaps could join.

Oh my goodness, yes you are all right. Sorry, rating has been bumped up and thank you for the clarification! Thank you for the thread info too TC :) I hate to scare people away :(

Yay! Thanks for accepting advice. :) The rating requirements are often confusing for new hosts, so I'm glad you took the time to educate yourself.

This swap is such a lovely idea! I unfortunately don't have enough tapes to complete it at the moment but hope I will if it comes around again (please run it again!)

Does thin lined plaid count as a striped tape? Lines go both vertical and horizontal? see sample [ here ] ( https://goo.gl/images/5yFgxJ )

plaid sample here

So just to clarify, we have 2 partners but are only sending them 20 washi samples each?

frillylilly 07/10/2018 #

@kgomez101 yup, that is correct. 4 cards with 5 samples on each to two different partners.

frillylilly 07/10/2018 #

@beenebag yup! That’s fine too :)

@sophie1002 if this swap is a success I will definitely do another 😀
