Everyone's Splat Mat Art ATC

Hello everyone...

Giving you time to sign up for this one so you can messy-up your splat mats and then clean the dobs of paint, dabs of ink, etc. Some history of this method, when I took Dina Wakley's class, she told us to use this method for cleaning our mats. I have attached a photo of the one I made this morning to clean my mat. Isn't it pretty? Each one comes out so differently! The picture shown is one that I made last weekend.

We will have 1 partner, and send that partner 1 ATC. Standard ATC size of 2.5 x 3.5 inches.

You will need a splat mat that has remnants of a paint (any paint will work) or ink project on it.. paint, ink, stickles, etc. (ABSOLUTELY No solid masses like paper pieces) Take a length of Clear Packing Tape at least 7.5 inches long. Take the Packing Tape, lay it over your paint or ink on your splat mat. Press down on the Packing Tape firmly. Sometimes using your nails or a burnisher helps. Lift the Packing Tape. Voila! You have lifted that mess off your mat and put it on your tape!! Keep doing this until your tape is full. If you run out of splat mat material, you can fill in by doing the same on a book page. When your Packing Tape is completely full, Adhere it to an ATC with the shiny side of the tape to the top. Make sure the WHOLE ATC is covered... you will need more than just the one piece, it takes about 1 1/3 pieces. See how pretty it looks! Did you ever think your splat mat mess could be so pretty??

Send your ATC With the usual backing of Name, swap bot ID, swap name, date.

This should be quick and easy... and so much FUN and they all come out so pretty!

NOTE: Please have a completed Profile page (I should have to scroll down to read about you when I do my check for the swap), and have at least 15 type 3 swaps under your belt. With no 1 or 3 ratings for at least 6 months.
