Description:

I have hosted some Round Robin Journal Swaps , that are only open t o "experienced" swappers with a great rating - and I have been contacted by many newbies asking if they can join...

I've told them to find a "quick turnaround swap " and get some great ratings, and they would be most welcome.

well, there just aren't that many quick swaps that are open to newbies, ...and I remember when I was one myself...

SO... This is for YOU, if you are brand new, and haven't yet found a quick swap to get some good ratings.

This is an International Swap, open to EVERYONE! - even experienced swappers (adding a couple "5"ratings is good for anyone!)

SWAP DETAILS: you will have TWO partners (that means you will get two ratings)

Send FOUR blank* notecards with envelopes to each of your partners.

(That's eight notecards total, which is usually one packet of notecards from the store)

*In some past swaps, people have questioned what "BLANK" means - - there can be NO greeting/writing/wishes, etc. on the card! Better to take a piece of one-sided scrapbook paper, and fold it to fit into an envelope. This is a FAST swap (one week from signup deadline to mailing deadline, so get your cards right away, put them in the mailing envelope, even weigh it, if you want -

(remember, this is an international swap, so don't add postage yet)

Swap partners will be assigned right after the signing deadline, all you'll have to do is address the envie, add the right postage, and get it mailed on time.

Remember to RATE your partner as soon as your swap arrives...there are some eager newbies waiting for a number after their name!

Any questions or comments please just ask or message me.

Hey! Thanks for organizing this! Just a quick question to clarify - do we include four envelopes with the four notecards?

Milla84 08/ 8/2018 #

Notecard is not the same as postcard? Just asking... becose english is not my first language... are they small cards on gifts or on bouquet of flowers? I want to send the right ones. Thank you! -Milla-

My take would be that these are the folded A2 Blank Cards that typically run about 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. Not the same as the tiny cards on flowers, and not the same as postcards as these are designed to be folded with envelopes. Of course, feel free to override me if you disagree!

Ktasticaz - thank you SO much, for your great answers! to answer everyone's questions, , everything she said is exactly RIGHT! I do hope everyone has FUN with this, (and with all my swaps -= thank you for joining!

partners will be assigned soon - - and yes to the person who wrote me to ask - yes, this could be easily combined with the Dollar Store swap! - - and ALSO the Just to Say Hello Swap!

I love the nicknames you all picked - - I'm sure there might be a great story about the WHY you picked it! And yes, there is a story with my own!

Do the card have to be all different or can I buy a set of the same ones and just put 4 of those in envelopes? Where I live this is not such a common size and I can only find so many cards and only in sets

Ktasticaz 08/15/2018 #

Hi Eithna - I realize I wrote A2 but not all notecards are precisely A2. There is some variation. I had some that were smaller. They usually come in a box and are usually a little smaller than a normal greeting card. I don't know if my A2 reference tripped you up. So sorry if it did. I don't know what most people are doing but I sent 4 different ones. It's more interesting that way. I did end up getting multiple sets to accomplish that and figured I'd join other notecard swaps and use them to write notes to folks. Not saying that's required.
