Book Lovers Day swap!

According to NationalDayCalendar.com, Thursday, August 9th (and sometimes the first Saturday in November, because.... reasons) is National Book Lovers Day! So, let's celebrate! :)

Please note the send by date! This is a quick turn around EMAIL swap!

This is an International EMAIL/type 1 swap, and you will have 10 partners (if enough people sign up!). You may send the same information to all 10 partners, just please, please, please, use BCC if you send out to a group. (If you don't know what that is, please ask me! I'll do my best to walk you through it!)

Please use the swap title as your EMAIL subject line and be sure to add your swap-bot user name in the email, so your partner can rate you. :)

In an email to your partners, please answer the following book related questions:

At what age did you start reading? Who was your reading partner?

What was your favorite book as a child? Have you read it recently? What did you think if you re- read it?

What are your top 5 favorite books (or, ok, you can list a whole series as one) currently?

Do you prefer print books or ebooks? Ever try audio books? If so, what do you think of audios?

Where do you usually get your books? Do you prefer brand spanking new ones, or do you like used books?

What is the oldest book you've ever read? Do you remember the copyright? Do you remember how you came to read it or where it came from?

Do you collect books? Or just favorite copies?

Have you ever been to a book talk or gotten an author's signature? Who was it?

Do you collect book related items? Book marks, items with books or quotes on them, etc ...

How many books to you usually read a year?

Who is your current favorite author?

Do you have a favorite genre of books? If so, what is it?

What are some books you recommend to people?

Lastly, what are you currently reading? How did you come to start that book? What do you think so far?

So, that's it! :) Just answer those questions in an EMAIL and send off to your partner (remembering to use BCC for a group) by the send by date. :) Maybe we'll all find a new title or author to add to our To Be Read pile. :)

This swap is not profile based, so you can start on the answers now. If you receive an email from your partner with the questions answered, on time, please rate a 5. This isn't a ratings booster swap, but you do still need to rate your partner.
