You will decorate a fall leaf and attach a way for your partner to hang it. It sounds easy and it is, but being the creative crafters I know you to be, well let's just say a simple fall leaf can become something very nice indeed. Now, a sturdy floral fall leaf all decorated up nice and autumn-y is basically what I have in mind, but feel free to use a wooden leaf or one made of metal or clay or any type of sturdy material...fabric? (of course!), plastic (yes), heavy card stock? (if you make it sturdy and durable, then yes). The size can be as small as 4" or as big as 8" or anything in between, as long as you remember to include a way to hang it. Edited to add this: If you would prefer that your leaf be a fall decoration attached to a stick then that is fine too. In that case you would not need to include a hanger. The stick needs to be about 8" long though so it can be inserted into a fall arrangement or plant. I'm picturing these looking at home on a Halloween tree or on a doorknob or even on the wall as part of a fall display, or as part of a fall foilage display if you do the stick thing. I mentioned Halloween above. Now before anyone runs off and makes a spectacular fall leaf with a witch on it (which I would personally love, by the way), this is NOT a Halloween swap. So even though the leaf might look awesome on a Halloween tree, please don't use any elements that are specifically Halloween, ok? I know it's hard not to, but next month will be a palooza of Halloween goodness, so this one is FALL specific. You are always welcome to check with your partner though. wink Ok, since this isn't profile based, you may begin!!! |
