Do you love a fun challenge and especially one that involves washi tape? If yes, come on out and play with me. We will be spelling the word W-A-S-H-I using different washi tapes. Thus, you will choose a washi tape that represents each letter in the word WASHI, for a total of 5 washi tapes to your partner. How you represent each letter is up to you. Below are a few examples to get your mind working.
Hopefully you get the idea. Some will be obvious, but some you may have to get a little creative with, such as "I". It's doable (think igloos, ice cream, ink (could be tape with pens on it), iris flowers, etc. If you get stuck, you could include tape with a word that has an "I" in it. Any themes may be used (colors, patterns, animals, foods, words, etc. - it's all good), with one exception: no holiday tapes. [If you need more help with words, consult Google.] Please include a note that shows how you represented each letter. Other tape details: 18 inches per each tape sample. Please do not send plastic, duct, glitter, or Dollar store-type tapes (you can this type if you rip your tape in half, you'll see a noticeable white edge. These tapes are more like paper stickers). These are sold at the Dollar stores in a single roll. The tapes you get in the tubes at the craft stores or online are ok. (If anyone has any questions, please ask in the comments below or send me a PM.) Lastly, please don't forget to decorate the front of your envelopes with washi tape. Getting a plain envelope in my mailbox when we all have colorful washi tape is just totally sad. |
