Coins are the biggest rage right now. For this swap you will make 3 coins for 1 partners. You must have something with wings. dragonflies, butterflies, birds, angels, even airplanes. Wings should be visible. A coin is still a card that needs a firm backing we are not swapping papers, but cards. A coin is a round 2.5 circle. You really do need a precision cutting tool to be in this swap. You may not had cut the circles with scissors. I bought the sizzix die cut circle set with a coupon. There are also punches. I have been told by a Michael's worker that their 2.5 circle punch wont cut through heavier paper or chipboard. Your backing should be chipboard, or something sturdy. The back of used note card is firm enough. You may want to cover the back with another round paper if you are covering up anything ugly from your recycled chipboard or note card. This is a smaller area to create on, so please keep that in mind. you still need 3 elements and at least two mediums to move this beyond the term sticker slapping. Hand drawn/ hand painted and Zentangles are an exception to the above rule. BTW it is sender choice so yes you can make these right away. |
