Hi swappers! I thought the glue book we made in the group a few months ago was so much fun, I'm hosting a swap to create another! I viewed 2 tutorials for this swap: is the one by StudioRat. She references a tutorial by KagedFish which can be found HERE The KagedFish tutorial is very rambling and slow, but there are a few good minutes at the beginning (just my opinion--you might love it). Basically, a glue book consists of glue and paper and is simply a compilation of images, words, etc. that appeal to you. Anything goes so long as the book contains only paper and glue. We'll be decorating 20 pages. You may use a preexisting book, tearing out pages so you have 20 left to decorate OR create your own 20-page booklet to decorate. You should aim to have a book that measures no smaller than 4.5" x 6.5"; that said, your book can certainly be larger. If you're sending out of your home country feel free to mail your book in an open position to cut down on thickness and (hopefully) get away with a large envelope classification instead of a package. Have fun! |
