Hello Friends,

This swap is for those who loves LETTER WRITING AND PENPALLING.

For this swap you have to write a letter to your given partner. This can be typed or handwritten. Decorate the letter as per your wish. Write at least two pages, about yourself, your family, your hobbies, your future plans, your friends etc.

SURPRISE - One partner will allotted you by Swap-Bot. But the 2nd Partner will be of your choice. Everyone has to choose 2nd PARTNER randomly and send them your letter and goodies Which will be SURPRISE PENPAL for them. So everyone get one PENPAL LETTER sure. But some may get 2 or 3 LETTTERS.

VERY IMPORTANT Those who are not sure to send 2nd letter don't join this Swap. This will same as Flaking. And they will be Bann from all future Swaps.

Check Partners profile and asked them some question, so that in return letter they can answer your questions.

Add some small goodies inside the envelope with your letter, a sticker sheet, some washi samples, postcard etc.

This is International Swap.

Newbies welcome. No recent unexplained 1's and 3. ( recent means 1 & 3 rating in 2018) Rating of at least 4.99 needed. I will be angel if needed.

I'm not quite sure how this is going to work seeing as there's no rating system for the second / surprise partner. How is the host going to track and maintain accountability? Because IMO, if someone doesn't send their second letter, this is still flaking yet no one will ever know. Also, what if one person in this swap gets 7 surprise letters? How is this fair to another swapper who may not get a second letter though they wrote two themselves?

Agreed with above. Nice idea but needs a little bit more planning in the execution before we can/should join.

@Bhindblueeyes 2nd partner will be from us only. You have to choose it. I am not allowing any 1&3 Rating in 2018. Everyone get one letter sure. I am responsible for that. 2nd letter is Surprise.

@Bhindblueeyes - it is sort of complex, & it will be difficult to track & ban from future rounds "2nd letter non senders", but it is known to be done earlier. There have been frequent "Postcard Roulette " rounds.

I like this idea. But why would the second round/ surprise penpals be US only? Should participants living outside US still send the second letter, with no chance of getting one in return? That doesn't sound fair. This is marked as international swap, so I think both rounds should be international.

I can’t see where it’s written that the second letter will go US only. You choose by yourself to who you want to write.

How can you be sure that everyone gets two letters and some only get 1. This sounds like it has the possibility of becoming like Valentine's day in grammar school.

I think that's the point - you can receive 1, 2 or even 10 letters. That's why it is a surprise. In any case, you will receive 1 letter and send 2, so you already have the opportunity to get 3 penpals.
