Description:

Create one little mini booklet from Project Life or any other brand of pocket page type cards. Your booklet will consist of 5 cards in the 3X4" size.

Each side (except the very back) should be decorated/embellished in some way. Try to incorporate some cards with wording or quotes that you can work into your design. Use inks, paints, rubber stamping, collage, stickers, embellishments, trims, washi, etc. to decorate your pages and the front cover. Feel free to cut up additional cards and use little bits and bobs from them (wording, cute design, etc.).

Your little booklet must contain at least 2 pockets, with a small goody tucked into each. This does not need to be something expensive. It can be from your stash as long as it's like new and something that you would be happy to receive.

Bind or attach your pages in any way that suits you (stitched, big clip, washi, ribbon or twine, binder ring)

Package securely and send off to your partner. This should be fairly flat, so I think it should be reasonable to mail.

Details:

  • 5 project life or similar cards in a 3X4 size
  • bind together in some way to create a booklet
  • decorate the front cover
  • decorate/embellish each page in the booklet
  • back side cover does not need to be decorated
  • at least 2 pockets with a little something in them

Please message me or post below with any questions.

Happy creating!

Such a nice idea! And a great way to use all the PL cards I have and haven't touched in ages!

@milamilamura I also have a seemingly endless box of PL cards too! It is a good way to put some to use :)

I have some nice cards that I would love to use for this project! But they are 4 x 4 inches... Would an album in this size be okay for this swap?

sassafrass 01/19/2019 #

@fluffyjunk sorry, it's the 3X4 size, just to keep things simple and uniform for everyone :) Would you be able to cut yours down a bit without losing much of the design?

fluffyjunk 01/20/2019 #

Naaaahhh.... No way to cut it down. But it is not like I don`t have other cards! :D I just want to make a prototype before I sign up....

@fluffyjunk sounds like me lol! I hope you'll be able to join in :)
