Description:

Ever find yourself setting little goals, but you lose motivation and they just don't happen? The aim for this swap is to help us hold ourselves accountable for our weekly goals.

So - when you sign up, post at least three goals for the week of this swap. They can be as simple as, "Read a book", or as challenging as, "Write several chapters of a novel". Whatever your goals are for the week, however big or small, use this as a chance to hold yourself accountable and get things done! :)

I'll assign partners on a Sunday. You will have three partners. Send an e-mail to your partners - I suggest using BCC - on the following weekend, telling them how well you did in tackling your list. (If you accomplish all of your weekly goals sooner than the weekend, feel free to send off your e-mail sooner!)

If you haven't posted your goals for the week in the comments by the time I'm assigning partners, you will be removed from the swap. I reserve the right to ban as needed, but this group is well-maintained, so I doubt that'll be necessary.

These are my goals for the week:

  • I want to clean the pantry and check food on the expiration date.
  • I want to digitally clean up my files on the computer & my external hard drive from the year 2013.
  • I want to make some ads on marktplaats (Ebay?) to try to sell a tarot game and a bloc of acrylic paper.
  • I want to bake some homemade cookies (my butter expires next week!)
  • I have to send out two swaps: the altered notecard swap and a scavenger hunt swap.

My goals for the week starting Feb. 10th:

  • read at LEAST one book from my TBR list

  • do ALL of my physiotherapy exercises, even the new ones that are seriously un-fun

  • continue de-cluttering around the house

  • make something using a new recipe (baking or cooking, whatever - just something new!)

  • make at least 10 handmade envelopes; my stash is almost empty

  • Survive the work week until Thursday (we have Friday off).
  • Make progress on a sock I’m knitting, maybe get to the heel.
  • Go to knit night on Tuesday
  • Find a volunteer opportunity for February
  • Read at least half of my current read
