Anybody want to use their washi on a fun project? I hope so! For this swap you'll be following the tutorial found HERE to create some book page/washi pockets to use for journaling or anything else you choose. The tutor uses two pages glued/sewn together for stability. Let's do that. She also gives an approximate measurement but you can opt to go larger or a bit smaller if you like. If you don't have the wider washi, feel free to stack up smaller widths or simply use the smaller widths as is. You could even layer your washi if you like. In the example, she sews around her pockets. This looks nice and finished; however, if you don't have a sewing machine, it's not an absolute requirement. Use hand-stitching or glue. You can also change-up the color scheme. We'll each have 2 partners and send 1 pocket to each partner. Pick a pocket or two! |
