Description:

This Swap will encourage participants to journal for one week at the beginning of Spring! 🌸 Each of us can express own Spring muse through writing and creativity. I hope you’ll find this swap enjoyable. Important: For this swap you’ll need two sheets of lined, unlined, or blank paper. These are to accommodate one week (seven days) of quick journaling. You’ll fold each sheet into fourths (fold 1/2 one way, then again). I’ll put a photo above of my sample; stay tuned. We’ll be writing on only ONE SIDE of each sheet in the one-fourth sections. To begin with, in the top left section (first sheet), you’ll write the date, swap name and your username. Introduce yourself to your partner... a short note. On the other three sections you’ll date them for the first three days of journaling. On the second sheet you’ll date them with next four dates of journaling. In each section at the end of the day please fill the 1/4 section with something Spring inspired about your day. You CAN draw in each section, add a sticker, write a quote, rubber stamp an image- up to you. Even write a poem! At the end of the week, fold the 2 sheets up and they’ll fit nicely in a greeting card sized envelope. You can read your partner’s profile to add an extra if you’d like! It’s nice to add a few words to show you took a peek at their profile ****Please start journaling the night AFTER the SIGN UP DEADLINE 3/23, and mail on the second day after the swap deadline 3/30***partners will be assigned asap. Rate a 5 if directions followed. A heart is your choice. Please add your username and swap title to the envelope for ease of rating. I hope this simple journal format is fun and insightful. Thank you for sharing your Spring thoughts with your partner. Your uniqueness is appreciated! Happy Spring! ****Please Note: This Swap will cap at 25 participants.**** Any red flags or over 25th sign up will be banned. This is to make this a lovely swap for all!

Hello just to clarify would we journal about our day in each section and decorate/draw etc? Or is it one or the other in each section?

Ramya 02/13/2019 #

Whatever you’d like. Spring related, your day, embellished, etc.

If we're still to be journaling until the 29th, wouldn't it be better to change the sending deadline to the 30th? I don't like the idea of having a sending deadline pass without being able to send on time.

Also, what size paper should we be working with? Can we potentially do this as an 8pg folded zine?

Ramya 02/17/2019 #

Yes, changed date to 30th. Sorry about that! Any size paper is fine. No zines please- follow example- 2 sheets.
