Inspired by the December, 2018 of Somerset Studio, let's create a winged paper doll! I am going to link a video for those that don't have this issue, or that just want to see the process in action. You do not have to do your paper doll exactly as shown. Use this as inspiration and a starting point. The Basics: You will select a TH paper doll and cut the bottom part of the legs and attach to a skirt as shown in the video. The skirt can be fabric or even pretty paper. Add wings to your doll. When you are finished, you will be attaching it to a large paper tag. ETA: The #8 size manilla shipping tag would work wonderfully (6 1/4" X 3 1/8") or something similar in size. You can decorate a manila shipping tag or create your own out of sturdy paper. Get creative! It does not need to be over the top decorated, as we want the focus to be on the paper doll, but something nice to compliment it. When you add your paper doll to the tag, her legs can hang over the bottom edge as shown or not. Either is acceptable! Add embellishments and finishing touches to your doll and the tag. Some ideas:
I want you to have fun with this and use your own creativity and style. That being said, let's agree to include the following:
Package your tag securely for travel and include a note with your swap-bot ID and swap name. Let's make paper dolls! |
