Description:

I don't know about you but there are times I wish I had a new knitting pattern without having to order it or go to my LYS. New being new to me, not new to the person sending it to me.

So here's the scoop:

  1. You will have one partner.

  2. You will send one knitting pattern from your stash to your partner.

  3. The pattern should be in good to very good condition without any writing on it (like your notes) and if possible, in a plastic protective sleeve so the recipient can just pop it in a 3 ring binder or in a file.

  4. Please review your partner's profile to see what she (or he) prefers to knit.

  5. Be sure to note on your profile the type of knitting you do - if there isn't enough information for your partner to determine for sure what you like, you will have to be satisfied with what you get - and you will need to rate a 5 so long as it's on time and it's a knitting pattern in good to very good condition and without any writing on it (as noted in number 3 above). Make sense?

Below are the sign up rules (I've taken the liberty of copying most of @telizas info from her swaps as she says exactly what I would, I hope you don't mind!).

You must be a member of the Knitters R' Us Group to participate. A rating of 4.9 or better is required. Newbies are welcome, IF you PM me first AND have a completed profile. I will angel this swap if someone flakes. You MUST rate for this swap, I stalk non-raters! This is an international swap, as patterns weigh basically nothing so postage shouldn't be a big issue.

Any questions, PM me. Thanks!

This sounds like a really nice swap. I sure have a lot of patterns I would love to share.

Thanks, I've spent a lot of time in the office just today organizing and boy, do I have a lot of patterns. :-)

Many of my patterns are copies as I belong to another online knitting forum, and I have quite a variety of items, many from the UK. These copies are in pristine condition, some are laminated, are these OK to swap, or do they have to be the original pattern?

Can I print from the net as in my country there are not many English pattern around. A Norwegian yarn company have wonderful patterns online in English which I use to print from. Is that ok?
