In this swap you will create a zine of at least six pages for each of two partners. The zines can be the same or different.

The zine should be about the idea of having a dinner party with anyone you want ... dead or alive ... personal acquaintance or not ...

The zine could focus on the partcipants themselves, the actual dinner party, how you would prepare for these guests ... it's all up to you!

Can you help me to get the idea of making a zine? I think it is something like an magazine or newsletter ... is it compound of different articles? Or should it look like a real magazine with pictures, columns, advertising ... Your idea sounds very interesting to me, but I have no glue. Is there a website where making a zine is explained? Greetings to Michigan from Germany :-)

This sounds like it could be really awesome. But like Hilde Marten, I don't really know what a zine is... Can anyone explain it for us?

Sorry for the delay ... a zine is like a small magazine or book that you make. It can contain articles, poetry, collage, artwork, and a mix of any or all of these and more. You could think of it as card making heavy ... feel free to email me if you have more questions.
