Hi All, This will definately be an international swap. But it may cost a good penny to send. I thought it would be nice for everyone to send 1 swap partner there Sunday newspaper (or their main paper) where you have all the sale adds, articles on homes for sale etc. The only thing you DO NOT HAVE to send is your local coupons, that includes your coupons for Joann's, Micheals, or your coupons for craft stores. But the newspaper itself with the local sale adds for stores etc has to be COMPLETE. This way we can read what is going on in your state, country, local area etc. So there is one partner and one newspaper. I am going to make this a limited swap rating of 4.7 or higher. Anything below will be deleted. Also I'm not allowing newbies because these newspapers can weigh a great deal and cost someone a great deal to send especially if overseas. But I will be continuing this type of swap. There will be a part 2, 3 , 4 etc. I'm sorry for not allowing the newbies and making it such a high rating but this is my first swap and I want it to go as smooth as possible. I am giving a full week for this swap, that way if it's not a Sun. paper that is your full news than you have all week to wait for it. And please if you read your paper please put it back together nicely for your partner. Some shipping ideas, tubes, roll it up tight in brown paper a couple rounds that way if the brown paper get's torn a little it doesn't go through to the newspaper, small box, etc. Now some newspapers will be bigger than other's so you may send out a really huge paper but get a smaller one in return please don't be upset. Another thing, some newspapers from out of the country might be in a different language, so you might not be able to read it. But I'm sure you will still have fun looking through it. Just a thought-You could take one of your papers to your post office and have it weighed to find out an estimate of what it might cost to send before you sign up for the swap. P.S. Just imagine what you could use from someone else's newpaper for your altered books, or scrap booking, or letting your chilren read it after you. Or letting go to the class room with them to share. (again after you've read it) |
