I have an unhealthy obsession with old paper. I especially like old forms, or lined paper. If I can find pads of old paper, all the better! Maybe you have a similar obsession? :D I find these tend to be great for junk journals! Send your swap buddy (at least) 5 different old forms (some kind of paper that's lined...maybe old applications for something, old check book register pages, old checks, old address book pages, even old ledger book pages! be creative!)...the older the better! (but not TOO delicate or brittle) New, unfilled, OR used and filled out. Either is great! Ok to fold in half to fit into an envelope (probably best to use a 6"x9" envelope or larger to send). Include a note with where you found our treasures! Newbies welcome. 4.9 rating at least for the rest :) I will angel, but please don't make me do that ;) thanks!

Anyone know how much a 6x9 envie to mail outta USA? i PRolly should know before I join.

@kittyhahahotbot It's my experience that using USPS is the most affordable, and the price depends on the location being sent to. For example, I sent a flat envie of ephemera to Canada for the usual $1.15, but the same cost $14.90 to go to Singapore, and $25 to Sweden. The postal worker said it wasn't weight as much as distance and rural access areas. That's why I am not a part of many Int'l swaps these days...you have to have access to a postal scale to avoid "surprising" fees at the postal counter. I think that the limit for one international stamp is about the weight of 7 standard postcards. Anything thicker needs an extra 15 cent ounce stamp added. Hope that helps!

@kittyhahahotbot In my experience, having sent 6x9 envies to different countries, the most it's been is around 7 or 8 dollars. From what I gather, it based on the weight. I always shoot for 1 or two ounces. Then again, I don't know if the receiving country would send back for additional postage! LOL! But I've been rated with 5's and hearts so far! :)

that's weird - i thought 1 ounce to any country was $1.15 (or whatever the international forever stamp goes for these days). 6x9 is not oversized. Were those $15 and $25 envelopes heavy or especially thick?
