Description:

If you like ATCs and other altlered items, please join in! You will create an altered puzzle piece for each of your 2 partners.

Altered Puzzle pieces can be used by the receiver as an ATC piece, a magnet, a pin, a car ornament, etc

To encourage fairness in swapping - let define a puzzle piece as one piece of a child's puzzle (usually 25 pieces or less) or 3 connected pieces of an adult sized puzzle (usually 100 pieces or more).

no theme - just altered the piece w/detail and style (slapping a sticker on is not sufficient).

This swap will be for those with a rating of 4 and above, and newbies are welcome. It is an international swap, as postage should be reasonable.

Hiya! Am so sorry I hadnt seen your puzzle swap when I put mine forwards! I had liked the idea of altering puzzley shapoes on the altered pages yahoo site......please dont be cross with me!!!! :(

grandmaroro 04/11/2007 #

Don't mean to be dense, but could you give measurements? I have puzzles from tiny to floor size --- don't measure the bumpies, but edge to edge, please. Thanks, Joan

I'm all done with mine - the two turned out quite differently, but I had a great time making each!

Thanks for the great swap idea! :)

Hey Grandma Roro,

To ease your mind, the puzzle pieces I have been working with are...approx. 2x2 or 2x3 (kids puzzle pieces).

So, if you put the adult puzzle pieces together, they should measure about the same.

But, PLEASE everyone - don't give 3s if they are slightly smaller. I just provided a general guideline to keep the swaps relatively even/fair.

Thanks for the question & happy crafting,

Stephanie

Nope linie,

I think I'm the one who's missing out - I haven't received my second one either.....oh well, the first one I received from Jan W. was fantastic! :)

Mle someone told me that about 10% of swappers dont send, so we all cop for a flaky in time, but it is so unfair isnt it. Life throws us all curl balls from time to time, but an email to say........sorry or that it will come in the end, might be thoughtful and tactful at very least. Hope it gets to you in the end Lyn

Mel...........even lol
