Many of us think our homes are hum drum and boring, but our homes are a reflection of US! Who we are, What we want in life, What is important to us, etc, etc, etc. Write a letter (minimum 2 pages) to your partner telling them about where you currently live. Letter can be typed or hand written. What do you love about your home? What about your home makes you smile? Do you have any special memories relating to your home? Are there any family heirlooms or souveniers that make you smile? What colors is your home decorated in? Why did you pick those colors? What have you done to make your home yours? Who do you live with? What influence have they had on your dwelling-place? What plans for the future do you have for your home? Be as creative as you wish. Also include a little something that relates to your home. Maybe a pressed flower from the garden, maybe a tea bag because every evening you like to sit in your breakfast nook and sip tea, maybe an envelope book made from wallpaper samples taken from your house. Maybe a bookmark with the same kind of flowers that grow in your garden. Whatever! The point of this exercise is to view your current home in a new way . . . To appreciate the place that surrounds us. This swap is open to home owners, renters, apartment dwellers, condominium owners, mobile home inhabitants . . . If you live in a box under a bridge write and tell about that. (That's some box by the way, if you've got an internet connection in there and are checking swap bot!) :) Fine Print: International swap, newbies welcome. A rating less than 4.0 or any "no sends" will get you banned unless you email me with a very good explanation. Please clear up any "no sends" before joining this swap! I am putting a quick turn around on this swap because we don't need to know who are partners are to write our letter. |
